Weekly Music Picks
Did you spend the rainy weekend cooped up indoors? Plenty of great shows this week to choose from to make up for the cabin fever. People’s Temple plays their psychadelic punk at Mohawk to kick off the week.
Tuesday
Brother Ali brings his hip hop to Mohawk outside, while locals The Couch and The Sour Notes rock Mohawk inside afterwards.
Throwback Tuesday brings Blondie AND Devo to Stubb’s.
Wednesday
The Pussy Riot Benefit Show with Tom Grrrl and feral future at Trailer Space records will give proceeds to the legal defense fund of the imprisoned Pussy Riot trio.
Amanda Palmer tours with her new band, Grand Theft Orchestra, with a stop at Stubb’s.
Thursday
Hope you already have your tickets or get ready to scour Craigslist, because the Beach House/Walkmen show at Stubb’s is sold out.
Fiona Apple is back at ACL Live to reprise her SXSW show.
Mike the Moonpies continue their high-energy Thursday night ruckus at White Horse this week.
